Using Savvy, guests can easily peruse hotel information, listen to music, receive front desk messages, browse local attractions, check the news and weather—all from the guest room mirror—with no special apps or in-room devices required.
With the touch of the finger, guests can learn about hotel amenities, such as restaurant menus, salon services, and fitness center hours. They can receive special offers from the spa, boutique, and lounge. Find local information like news, weather, and nearby attractions. Play their favorite music. And even receive personalized, custom messages from the front desk—including messages to groups of rooms, such as a wedding party or business meeting.
Savvy delivers a high value proposition not only to guests, but also to management. Electric Mirror’s proprietary Hotel Guest Network (HGN) gives hotel staff centralized control over the cloud-based IP technology, allowing for quick and easy updates to Savvy’s content and messaging. Remote software updates and troubleshooting are simple as well using the centralized tools, eliminating the need for direct access to each mirror.
Additionally, hoteliers focused on energy savings will love that Savvy can be powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), which can reduce electrical costs significantly by using low-voltage power. Not only does using Savvy with PoE reduce ongoing operating costs, but installation expenses are lower as well.
Savvy’s usage data reveals operational opportunities. With anonymous, aggregated usage data, hoteliers can learn how their hotel guests interact with Savvy.
With Savvy’s personalized messaging and custom content, hotels can drive incremental revenue by cross-selling hotel services. Savvy can also reduce costs from customer service and front desk calls, which can also be tracked via built-in data analytics.
Savvy offers personalized surveys, which provide an excellent direct channel for gathering real-time guest feedback while guests are still on-site. Management is able to respond to customer concerns, increase satisfaction, improve retention, and optimize lifetime value.
